The following article has some mistakes,i.e., the spelling of names. Also,it states that Alphonse was born in Chicago as well as his wife. Emma was born in Ogdensburg. Alphonse was born in St. Roch in Quebec and emmigrated when he was about 2 years old. Alphonse's brother Victor was born in Chicago. Alphonse and his family lived in Chicago for awhile at the turn of the century. Elzire is the correct spelling and she married Sharland, however, there are Charland's. Juliette married Lochran. Hopefully, the rest of the article is accurate. Who knows??? At least someone thought enough of his accomplishments to include him in this book.
